Updates on what I am up to lately.

#9

Diving deeper back into Figma, for the simple fact that I wish to practice my craft and want to stay current with recent feature developments, workflow improvements, and new capabilities.

The more I looked into AI and the public discourse around it, the more I have also been exploring the shifting value perception around AI outputs. There is a lot of commentary about "slop" and I frequently see impressive visuals being critically eyed as "is this AI?" An interesting companion for this exploration has been the book "The Revenge of Analog" by David Sax for its exploration of how we have come back (?) to appreciating certain analog products and processes for its unique characteristics.

Had a stretch that centered a lot more on mentoring - both as a mentor and also a mentee myself. Fruitful time to reassess where things are, where they are going - though speculative.

It is noteworthy just how big of a role relationships and connections can and always will play in life - career and otherwise.

#7

Researching SMB needs around the UX and AI space, identifying gaps in service offerings and clarity of messaging. Codifying alongside the SMB AI framework.

#6

Diving deeper into Ethan Mollick's Co-Intelligence about the integration of AI into work, focusing on his concept of centaurs and cyborgs - aka how clearly divided tasks and collaborative models are between humans and AI.

#5

Continuing the exploration around AI, with a focus on personal knowledge management or organizational knowledge management. This is currently heavily inspired by the second brain idea, and the continuous shift in relevance from prompt engineering to context engineering.

#4

Exploring AI tools around vibe coding and rapid prototyping, like Cursor, Lovable, Replit, v0.

Also codifying my approach to AI usage for SMBs, as a framework to help them define and launch intentional AI initiatives.

#3

Developing additional case studies. Enhancing integration with mentorship offering. Adding work experience overview to the main page.

#2

Continuing to refine the website, adding more resources I found helpful and adding a page for mentoring services. Also seemingly fixing some issues with some of the main sections.

I am learning that website work seems to be a nocturnal thing for me. Just like various past iterations of personal websites, I tend to make the most progress after sunset.
